The Art of Intentional Movement — Part III
Moving with Total-Body Intention
The body does not move as a collection of separate parts. In gTonnicks®, it learns to move as one intentionally connected whole.
In Part III of *The Art of Intentional Movement, MisterG expands the practice of IPCM — Intentional & Purposeful Contraction of the Muscles — from individual muscular engagement into coordinated, whole-body movement.
Building upon Parts I and II, you’ll learn how to maintain purposeful muscular engagement while different areas of the body work together. The core supports the movement. Posture and alignment remain intentional. Active muscles perform their roles while the rest of the body stays connected to the practice.
Through demonstration, MisterG shows how even a seemingly simple movement can become a complete physical experience when IPCM is maintained throughout the body.
The goal is not unnecessary tension or rigidity. It is intentional participation — learning when, where, and how to engage while preserving control, fluidity, posture, and presence.
This is where IPCM begins to reveal one of the defining characteristics of the gTonnicks Method: the ability to make purposeful movement more comprehensive without simply adding more weight, speed, or complexity.
Connect the body. Maintain the intention. Own the movement.
Part III prepares you for the next step: using the gBalance Bar to explore how effectively you are maintaining engagement, alignment, and control throughout your gTonnicks practice.
